New Club Officers Elected
The September meeting was the annual
officer election for the Rogers County Wireless Association. The outgoing officers, John Podpechan (K5JJ) and Jeff Smith (KC5JIO) were thanked by
the incoming President, Calvin Emerson (KC5ARC) and Vice President, Duane
Martin (KD5XI).
There’s still time to pay your dues for the 2007/2008 annual
period. Single memberships are $20 and
family $25. You need not be a licensed
ham to be a member but interest in the hobby (even if vicariously through your
spouse or children) is suggested. You
must be a paid member to have voting privileges at the club meetings however
you need not be a paid member to attend club functions, business meetings or
use the RCWA repeater (N5FEE – 147.090+).
Guests are always welcomed warmly.
Annual Picnic
Dates have been selected and the club has
decided to continue sponsoring 2 picnics annually. The dates selected for 2008 are May 3 and
September 13. We will attempt to reserve
the same shelter at
