o Reminder about Calvin Emerson’s invitation to conduct
2008 field day at his place. Request for
further discussion resulted in silent room.

No activity. Everyone feels the
current 35 watts output is adequate for now.

o The fall picnic is September 15.
§
With low attendance
at meetings there was some concern and question as to whether or not the picnic
should happen as planned. We are out the
$25 even if cancelled therefore we will proceed with the fall picnic and look
into whether it’s feasible to continue these semi-annual events.
§
Because of Larry
Little’s current situation there may be a need to
request volunteer to help get the charcoal cooker to the picnic site.
§
Decision to go
ahead means club will purchase 30 1/3lb hamburgers and 50 hot dogs.
§
A food and
condiment list was passed around. Onion,
tomato, lettuce, cheese, BBq sauce, mustard, katsup, relish, baked beans and buns are all covered.
§
Motion made by
Larry England, 2nd by Kathy England to have Calvin Emerson order and
purchase the meats then the club will reimburse full amount upon presentation
of the receipt by Calvin. Motion passed
by show of hands.
§
Per Sie Roe, Dale has volunteered to bring deer meat
again. It would be welcome as attendees
were very complementary of the deer meat in May and burgers were gone before
the beef burgers. Sie
will bring livers again.
